Requirements for this course
1- For grade 10-11 english language arts is mandatory.
If you are taking english 12 then the minimum grade just to pass the course is 70% or higher depending on the city your in
2- If you take other english courses it will help you in your graduation
3- If grade 10 or 12 are talking english First peoples then they have to write a provincial Numeracy Assessment
4- For grade 12 they need to have 16 credits(it's only palmer but it differs through different schools) just to graduate including language arts and Career Life Connections
5- Why is it important for grade 12's to take English?
It's because it gives them a foundation for critical thinking, and a understanding of literary and media text
