What is English literature?
This combined studies course focuses on the development of basic knowledge and application of skills in English.

Humanities 8:
Humanities 8 is a course that teaches application of skills to help students develop major skills in communication, thinking, and personal and social core competencies so that it helps them explore to world in the future. Students geography knowledge are expanded in grade: 8. In literature students take reading comprehension and they will read novels, short stories, poems, non-fiction, and historical texts to expand their knowledge.

English Literature 9:
Grade 9 course builds up upon the previous grade. Students will continue to develop content and curricular competencies and they will work hard toward listening to understand; communicating effectively; presenting information and ideas with confidence and fluency; and understanding the connections between language and culture.
English 10
This course is specifically made for students who are interested in geographical area, or theme, or in the study of literature in general. This course allows students to dive deeply into the world of literature like authors, poetry, etc... The course provides students opportunities to build their writing skills through stories in a range genres and many more.
English 11
Students are allowed to explore different areas like fiction or non-fiction. Teachers expect from them a higher and a deeper level of thinking and level of thinking that will enhance their development of both the receptive and expressive curricular competencies for English.

English 12
This course requires more deeper thinking and lots of participation teacher expect from them higher level of thinking more than grade 11 and they have to read increasingly complex texts. Students explore a varieties of media and they get to choose which topics they want
